Vanilla ice cream with dried figs and Balsamic Cream

Ingredients (serves 4)

12 dried figs

1 tbsp butter

4 tbsp PAN Balsamic Cream

1 chili pepper, finely chopped

6 basil leaves, finely chopped

400 gr vanilla ice cream

coarsely chopped walnuts to serve

Method

Melt the butter in a pan. Add the figs and chili pepper and let simmer over medium heat, until golden. Add the Balsamic Cream and remove from heat, then add the chopped basil. Stir and serve over vanilla ice cream, with a sprinkle of coarsely chopped walnuts.
